Centaura
- Female Centaur -
Centaura, unlike any other centaur
that lives in a colony,
Wandered alone.
She got separated from her family when the big flood,
Which devoured all things ever existed on the mother earth,
happened.
Now,
With the ability to change any branch unto a bow,
and also magically infinite amount of magical arrows,
She sought her colony to every nook and cranny of the world she was living in.
But it was in vain,.
Until she found an evidence showed her past colony existence.
A note, left by her brother, sounded
'The Preacher said we have to go to the east, Where the Sun rise.
He said there'll be a lot of food, in contrary of this place which have none at all.
We will be going tomorrow, and this note will be left here in case you survived,
My Sister,
May the sun protect us all'.
With a fervorous and ecstacy filled feeling Centaura walked to the east,
where later lead her to Trailla, The Sacred Forest.
The big trees, that filled the whole area,
Still looked damped and soaked.
The Big Flood still had it effects,
Even months after it event.
Trailla's little areas of light, plus it dampness,
made it felt haunted.
But even those views of the ghostly looking forest couldn't stop her from entering it.
Well, Her family was all she had on her mind.
She had walked a considerately long distance when she reached the heart of Trailla,
A lush green wide plain, contrasting it dense surrounding.
Supposed to be calming,
But she felt the other way around.
A menacing auras filled the entire plain, the entire supposed to be holly plain.
Something was wrong.
With a sudden calling, a humongous, and flying, overcasted thing appeared after her.
Covered by it shadow she took a defensive stance while turning a branch unto a bow.
Centaura had readied a series of arrows when the thing suddenly rushed to her in an aggressive manner.
Felt threatened she released her arrows, which had hit the thing and made it stopped.
Now landed, the thing got revealed by the sun light.
Just by it massive couple of wing and it natural crown she realized,
She was facing a Garuda.
A colossal eagle, A legend,
Comes to one in need.
But this one was weird.
It feather, which supposed to be gold, was instead a dark tint of silver.
The aura from it, the same aura that filled the whole plain, was also frightening.
And it had became much worst now that it appeared after her.
The Garuda, with all of it might, rushed toward Centaura again.
She could only jump, now that it was coming much faster, in order to avoid the Garuda's readied claws,
a sharp, as the sharpest razor, claws, and matching it feathers, silver as the coldest blade.
She avoided it, but hit it wings,
Which turned out to be hard as the hardest steel,
Leaving big deep wound.
Centaura's blood was surging through her body.
All the blood lost made her lose her consciousness.
'Never bow before your enemy'
A voice called out to her.
In a nick of a time a pool of dense magical energy flowed in a circular motion around her,
Then it surged toward her body, filled it with a massive amount of energy.
Without her mind present she formed a considerably master level of a spell.
A humongous majestic looking long bow was created in front of her.
The Garuda was astonished when it saw the bow.
But it astonishment had turned unto anger when it, again, rushed toward the now laying unconsciously Centaura.
But it movement was stopped.
The bow readied it self an arrow, one made by a concentration of an enormous amount of energy,
packed in a singe shot.
The discharged arrow hit the Garuda at the heart, rendered it motionless.
The battle was won,.
At the eternal darkness of her subconsciousness she saw a series of cards,
betraying pictures of when her colony was massacred, eaten, mutilated, slaughtered until none left,
all by the weird looking Garuda.
Tears came out from Centaura's pair of blue eyes.
Oceans of calamity came one after one.
The journey she had for all this time only led her to sorrow,
to the fact that she was, again, alone.
But hope had not vanished.
The last card appeared,
brought a picture of her brother, Krain, survival.
She realized it wasn't the time for mourning,
she had to find him.
happened.
